Awe missions / making disciples of all nations

“All the nations you have made shall come and worship before you, O Lord, and shall glorify your name” (Psalm 86:9)“

The 10/40 Mission Window — and Our Neighborhoods

The 10/40 Window is the region of the world stretching from 10 to 40 degrees north of the equator, covering parts of North Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. It is home to over two-thirds of the world’s population and contains the largest concentration of people groups who have little or no access to the Gospel. Many of these nations are closed to traditional missionaries—yet they represent the heartland of the world’s spiritual need.

Today, millions from the 10/40 Window are living, studying, and working in our own neighborhoods. Many have come from countries where missionaries cannot freely go—yet here they are before us, open to hospitality, friendship, and truth. This is not by chance; it is a divine opportunity to live out the Great Commission at our doorstep.

Local mission has global impact. When internationals encounter Christ here, they often carry the Gospel back to their families, communities, and spheres of influence worldwide. Our 10/40 Missions Window Mission is to equip believers to respond to this moment by:

  • Initiating hospitality that ministers to the felt needs of internationals in our communities
  • Engaging in meaningful, cross-cultural conversations that include sharing the Gospel
  • Providing cross-cultural worship resources—including multi-ethnic musical instruments from around the world—that can be used in worship services, home groups, and community gatherings to connect with the music and heart language of different nations

In this way, the Church becomes a welcoming home where the nations experience Christ’s love and take it back to the world!
